Contest Information
The Best Underground Albums of 2007 contest is a popular vote competition to give recognition to the finest underground and independently released albums of the year. Members of the SF forum community participated in a nomination phase which produced the 20 albums now on the voting ballot. To preserve the independent nature of the contest, no albums released under the RIAA or by artists formerly part of the RIAA were allowed to compete. The band/artist whos album recieves the most votes at the end of the contest will recieve an award yet to be determined.
