"Every Ocean Reversed is a highly mature piece of work from a relatively young band. Featuring six songs and clocking in just under an hour in length the album traverses a lot of ground; journeying between crushing waves of heavy, iconic riffs to gorgeous tremolo sections that are breathtakingly beautiful and strangely anthemic.
Every
Ocean Reversed is a stunning album, with a much more diverse sound than many oft-criticised 'epic' metal bands. The heavier moments are incredibly dense with a doom/sludge tinged feel to them; the lighter moments move and interact with the rest of the music with a grace most bands are rarely blessed with."
The album was mixed by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna).
Artwork was done by Pierre Johansson (Breach).
The album comes packaged in a 6-panel digipak with a matte finish.
Track Listing:
Crane (10:15)
Hide Away The Sun (08:59)
Landscapes (08:12)
Thieves (08:20)
Our Eyes (09:09)
Take Me Away (11:49)
Every Ocean Reversed will hit the streets on 22nd September.
It is available to pre-order now, directly from the label.

An update from Savannah, Ga.’s KYLESA: “It's been a while since our last update so here you go: We've been writing a new record over the past few months and we're about to head to the Jam Room studio on Monday [July 21] to begin tracking. We're excited to record a new album since it's been two years since we recorded ‘Time Will Fuse its Worth.’ It's hard to believe it's been that long! The CD will be released on Prosthetic Records in early ‘09 and the vinyl version will come out around the same time. Phillip [Cope, Kylesa guitarist/vocalist (Baroness, Black Tusk)] will be producing the record. We'll send a few updates and photos from the studio.”
In other KYLESA record news, Red Cobalt Industries is producing a very limited alternate CD version of ‘Time Will Fuse its Worth’ for a Japanese release. The packaging was totally re-designed by Laura and is loaded with extra things including a poster of the "Double Skull" tee shirt design by John Baizley (Baroness, Darkest Hour, Torche, Skeletonwitch) and a sticker by Santos. It will be a sort of matchbook digipack with foil stamping and metallic inks. It should be in production very soon, and more details will be available soon. Once released, KYLESA plans on touring Japan for the first time, playing shows with Birushanah, Coffins, and several other bands. More details will be available as they are confirmed.
Most recently completing a string of dates co-headlining the East Coast with The Ocean, also featuring Lair of The Minotaur and labelmates Withered, KYLESA’s last release was ‘Time Will Fuse Its Worth,’ which saw a fall 2006 release through Prosthetic. The band also contributes a version of Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” which will appear on a forthcoming Syd Barrett tribute album that will soon see release through Dwell Records.

The UK's post-metal outfit BOSSK have announced plans to release a new DVD called .3. The release will reportedly contain documentary-style coverage of past tours, including live footage as well as photo galleries. Artwork will be done by Seldon Hunt, and pre-orders of this DVD will supposedly contain additional limited-edition art. The band had this to say on their MySpace blog:
"We had been putting stuff together to use for it for quite some time,
and now with the new lineup and forthcoming album next year we wanted
to finish off our first chapter of the band with something that was
personal. The footage contains memories that we will all never forget
from some awesome tours. This will be the end of one era of the band,
and will act as a great way to finish off what has been an awesome year
for us. All the footage in the DVD is sentimental to all 5 of us who
were in the band, and we want to share it with you."
More details on the release can be found HERE.
