I. Signed Bands & Artists:
If you're a band or musical artist that is currently signed to a record label, we would be happy to consider your new material for an album review. Our reviewing team is comprised of experienced, talented writers who are passionate about boundary-pushing styles of music. Things we are looking for:
- Artists signed to indepedent record labels only. No major labels, please.
- Music demonstrating sophistication, stylistic innovation, and a high level of creativity.
- NEW RELEASES ONLY. This means your album should have either an upcoming release date or have been released no earlier than 6 months before your request.

II. Unsigned Bands & Artists:
If you're an unsigned band or musical artist looking to promote your music, SF is a great place to get your material covered. Our new "Hear it First" section was created specifically for the promotion of unsigned artists who are trying to gain recognition in underground scenes. You can see some examples of unsigned artists that we have featured by visiting the section HERE. We are most actively seeking artists who meet the following criteria:
- Not yet signed to any kind of record label.
- Music demonstrating sophistication, stylistic innovation, and a high level of creativity.
- Available finished material, most preferably a demo or self-released album.

III. Record Labels:
Here at SF we take pride in forming strong relationships with small and independent record labels, and strive to give their material the best coverage possible. If you run an independent label, you can submit artist information and material to us. Please contact sean@sonicfrontiers.net for further details.
IV. Writers:
We are seeking SKILLED writers with at least full high school (secondary) writing experience. Some university-level experience is preferred. You will be asked to submit a sample of your writing upon applying. New writers will begin with album reviews, but advancement to other types of articles is also a possibility.
